Years ago in Timor I created a little dress inspired by all the butterflies in our garden. I had JUST started dabbling in creating digital patterns and I made my first attempt at sharing a pattern.
^^^Oh my gosh you guys. This just kills me! Look at her! Time goes way way too fast! ^^^
^^^Look at those dimples! No wonder she has us all wrapped around her finger!^^^
It was only available in one size and it wasn’t that great but hey! It was my first try! It has been one of our most requested patterns so I decided it was high time I create a decent version in more sizes.
I of course had to make a few tweaks since my first version was so off the cuff. I added pockets and a belt (though it is just as cute without the belt)
She loves this one just as much as she did the last one and she and her sister may have gotten into a fight where each had a fist of the dress and was pulling. I of course broke it up but not until after a chuckle. I see some locks on closets in our future.
This pattern is so wonderfully easy and straight forward. When I was putting together I was thinking “why in the world did I put this off for so long?” You are going to love have quick of a sew it is!
So now for all the fun details! To get the pattern for free you need to sign up for the Sew What Club newsletter HERE. Believe me you want to sign up for this. Each month we will be sending subscribers free patterns. Each month after the newsletter goes out the pattern will be available in the shop HERE but it will not be free. This is only a perk for those who sign up for the newsletter! So come on! Hop on over and sign up! While your at it check out the membership membership options for the Sew What Club! You would love it I promise!
