Kelly Crawford was born and raised in southern California. She moved with her family to Utah when she was 16 and attended Jordan high school. In an AP History class she met Christopher. He was born and raised in Utah. They dated for a time during high school but Chris was a senior and soon graduated while Kelly remained for her senior year at Jordan. Christopher attended Southern Utah University, served a religious mission in Brazil and joined the Army National Guard. Kelly finished high school a year later and began attending Brigham Young University. They reconnected after Christopher returned from Advanced Training. They dated long distance for a year and were then married in the Salt Lake Temple. Kelly graduated from BYU, while Christopher graduated from SUU, he was activated for Operation Iraqi freedom the same day. After serving over 18 months he returned home and they later welcomed Sawyer (who is now six) to the family. Shortly after they moved to Williamsburg Virginia where Chris attended and graduated from William and Mary school of Law. Finn (who is now five) was welcomed to our family during this time and Evie (who is now three) shortly after graduation. After Evie’s birth Chris was offered a position with the Foreign Service. Chris accepted and they were then assigned to Dili, East Timor, the poorest and newest country in Asia. They enjoyed their tour there and you can read about many of their adventures during Throw Back Thursday posts. Immediately after the tour in Timor Chloe (who is now one) was born and they enjoyed a brief stint in DC while Chris learned French. They are now living in Paris, France since November of 2012 and loving every minute!
